Maritime Building café Menu 2024

The menu is relatively simple, and half of it consists of regulations, which in a way proves the high popularity of the Maritime Building café! According to the official Facebook page, the Maritime Building café allows entry in batches, with 6 sessions per day. No matter what time you enter, you must leave when that session ends.
The yellow building stands in the sea, and from the outside, it looks quite plain and unremarkable. But this is our destination this time, the Maritime Building café!
The simple gray walls paired with wooden tables and chairs, along with the high ceilings, create an elegant space! As soon as you enter the café, you might be struck by this impressive atmosphere.

Take advantage of the last 5 minutes before the session ends when there are no other visitors in sight. Every shot you take is beautiful! No wonder the crowds are always endless!
The stage area always has people lining up to take photos, making it difficult to find a moment when it's empty.
We ordered three cakes: a layer cake, a classic chocolate cake, and a brownie. The prices are similar to those at regular cafés, with each item we ordered costing 150 NTD.
▲Earl Grey Mille Crêpes(NT$150)
The Earl Grey Mille Crêpes has a rich tea flavor that is truly impressive. Paired with a hint of citrus, it tastes refreshing and light, without being overly sweet or heavy!
▲Classic Chocolate Cake(NT$150)
The classic chocolate cake is not too sweet, with a strong chocolate aroma. The cake itself is moist and not too dry, which is a big plus! Among the cakes we tried this visit, this one is my personal favorite!
▲Brownie(NT$150)
The slightly baked chocolate brownie has a warm, soft texture that melts in your mouth, complemented by slightly melted chocolate. It offers two types of enjoyment in one cake. However, the brownie at the Maritime Building café is on the sweeter side, more suitable for those with a sweet tooth.
Overall, this place is really perfect for friends who love taking photos or post on Facebook or Instagram! The interior decor of the Maritime Building café, coupled with the scenic sea views outside the windows, truly allows for capturing many extraordinary photos. However, if you're simply looking to enjoy desserts and coffee, or if you prefer leisurely strolls, I wouldn't personally recommend it as much.
Firstly, reservations cannot be made at the Maritime Building café, which means customers must wait on-site, especially challenging during busy holiday periods when crowds can be unpredictable. Secondly, dining times at the café are strictly limited. Regardless of your arrival time, you must leave at the end of the allotted session along with other guests from the same time slot. For example, if I arrive at 14:20 today and manage to find an available spot without a prior reservation, I must still adhere to the schedule and leave at 14:50 along with guests from the 13:40-14:50 session.
