In my opinion, transportation to Badouzi Station is more convenient. You can take a bus or train to Badouzi Station, or you can drive there yourself.
Both stations can be a departure stop. and it is available for you to take a one-way or round trip. 

  • Badouzi Station

By Bus: Take bus 791, or T99 to Badouzi Train Station.

  • Shen’ao Station

By Bus: Take bus 791, or T99 to Jianji Meikuang Station.

Shen’ao Rail Bike

We drove directly to the Shen’ao Rail Bike Station this time. The Shen’ao Rail Bike route is 1.3 kilometers one way. When purchasing tickets, you can choose either a one-way or round trip. The entire ride is pedal-powered. Fortunately, the path is relatively flat, so even someone like me, who doesn't exercise regularly, didn't end up with leg pain or foot pain.

If you have already booked your ticket, simply show the QR code, and they'll stamp your hand! Each rail bike accommodates two people, so if there's an odd number of visitors (1, 3, 5, 7, etc.), they'll need to follow the staff's instructions to share a ride with other visitors.

The seats are quite spacious, and you can also adjust them forward or backward for comfort.
In front of the seats, you'll find the riding instructions. Eating, smoking, standing, or shaking the rail bike deliberately are prohibited. If you want to learn more, there's also a QR code for audio guides.
Since there's only one track, occasional slow-moving or traffic situations might occur. At such times, all you can do is take a moment to relax and fully appreciate the natural beauty around you.





You'll find plenty of playful Mascot Characters during the riding. They appear frequently enough that you'll feel like you've made friends with them after just one ride!
If you choose to visit during the day, you can enjoy the breathtaking coastal scenery. But if you opt for an evening ride, you'll can enjoy even more illuminated scenic attractions.


The light show inside the tunnels is also stunning, truly different from other rail and tunnel attractions in Taiwan. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once!
